“On Wednesday 21st February former Defence and Foreign Secretary Sir Malcolm Rifkind joined fifteen members of the Association in the private room of a West End restaurant for the latest in our series of discussion dinners.
The food and wine were both excellent, but that wasn’t what we were there for. The gathering was small enough for everyone to join in across the table, and the conversation ranged from the inevitable topics of Iraq and Israel, to Scottish Affairs. It was a most enjoyable occasion, and I look forward very much to the next one.”

Sounds excellent – I was sorry to miss it. Any thoughts for the next guest?
