Ward Spokesperson Paul Church
Paul is a local resident and lives in Holborn. He is currently training to be a barrister, having graduated from the London School of Economics, where he obtained his B.Sc. honours degree in Government and sat on many of the School’s committees. In his youth, Paul attended his local comprehensive school and worked with various charities. His experiences inspired Paul to to do his bit to change our political system and to become a champion for our local residents and community.
Paul believes that Labour have been complacent and not given the people of Holborn and Covent Garden the services and representation they deserve. His commitment to strong public service has been greatly influenced by his parents who have worked all of their lives in their local community. Paul is proud to be a prospective councillor for such a such a diverse and vibrant ward and hopes to bring about a new type of politics, where people, rather than politicians have power over their lives and neighbourhoods.
